Drinking Water

Activities of the “National Rural Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Awareness Week celebration” were coordinated by our organisation in 2015-16. Mass rally in Tiruvallur and Rallies in all Block

Headquarters of Tiruvallur District were organised as a part of the campaign in association with the TWAD board. 900 teachers of the district were trained for Water Analysis and they tested 14,700 water samples collected from various Panchayat water sources of Tiruvallur District.

The activity was repeated in 2016-17 and all the water samples were tested again. The water sources which are not suitable for drinking were demarked with red colour and the community was well informed about this.
